Questions homeowners ask
What does a solar maintenance visit include?
Professional panel cleaning, a visual inspection of the panels, mounting hardware and roof penetrations, an inverter performance check with error-code review, a wiring and junction box inspection for weathering, and a production comparison against the manufacturer's benchmarks.
Do you service systems you didn't install?
Yes. We service all major panel brands, string inverters, microinverters including Enphase, and power optimizers including SolarEdge, and we are Tesla certified for panel and Powerwall work.
How often should panels be cleaned in the Portland area?
It depends on the trees and moss around your roof. In the Pacific Northwest, moss, lichen, bird droppings and seasonal debris build up and quietly cut production. A maintenance visit shows how much output you are losing, and we recommend a cadence from that.
Replacing your roof? Can you remove and reinstall the panels?
Yes. We coordinate directly with your roofer, handle the electrical disconnects, permits and inspections, and reinstall to the original or updated specification. We can also quote the roof itself in house.
Are you certified?
We are a Trade Ally of Energy Trust of Oregon, an Amicus Solar Cooperative member and a Certified Benefit Corporation, and our crew was named Best Solar Install Company at Solar Games 2026.
